We don't boast about using the finest, local suppliers and ingredients for our menus or the fact that we go to the market every morning or that we cook everything from scratch-- thats just the basics in this business.

Conservatory and Terrace Restaurant

We cater for everything and everyone. Our Conservatory and terrace restaurant provides a choice of classical Scottish cooking and a modern and authentic Mexican menu. With its unique brickwork and wood mix our conservatory restaurant is a modern yet classical looking dining room, where our guests relax in our real italian leather dining chairs and lose themselves in time and sometimes wine.

Weather permitting we open our Conservatory doors to allow our guests to dine "al fresco" on our terrace and enjoy the Scottish countryside views and air. Wooly hats are provided.

Cocktail Lounge

Our cocktail lounge provides an intimate and low lit area in which to enjoy the ultimate lounging experience and providing the opportunity to enjoy our crafted cocktails, our extensive wine list, a glass of the fizzy stuff or induldge the child in you with one of our board games. Sit back, relax and enjoy the low hum of our Jazz music as you enjoy your favourite long drink  or perhaps a bit of supper from our small but perfectly formed lounge menu. Our Lounge is also available for private hire or private dining

We will help you plan the wedding of your dreams, leaving you to enjoy your special day, and at the end of the day you can retreat to your luxurious bridal suite in our new boutique hotel.

We have the planning permission, now its get set and go, for our luxury, boutique hotel.

Be it a city break, weekend break, business stay we will offer an unrivalled hotel experience for the discerning guest and will offer a country side experience on the door step of Dundee. 16 Suite style rooms, a health and fitness centre and full use of all Cath Rennies amenities.

All of our rooms have been designed to the highest spec and every one will have its own unique decoration and theme. Sure we will have the plasmas. wifi, drench showers, mini bars, King size cosy beds with large feather pillows and egyptian cotton sheets, 24 hour room service, take away toiletries, complimentary pick up and drop off service to name but a few features, but what we will also offer is a first class experience at economy prices.

It will be a busy time here at Cath Rennies. We are offering a wide and varied choice throughout the festives this coming year.

Our legendary Party Nights are again up for grabs. We pick you up in Dundee, feed you a sumptous 3 course meal, provide entertainment from the "Phoenix Experience" all the way through till 1 am, give the boss the bill and then take you home. We are doing three weekends this year, starting on Dec 5th and finishing on Dec 20th. 12th and 13th were sold out by August last year.

We are also doing 2 sittings for Christmas day lunch and hosting our ever popular Hogmany Dinner and dance.
